Aviation branding agency projects strike a balance between, commercial viability, mission readiness and global authority. Momentum Solutions is a logistics company specializing in aviation, cargo, urgent response management and critical emergency infrastructure. They work with federal emergency management agencies and governments worldwide as well as with NATO, the UN, the United States Department of Defence, the European Commission and Canada’s National Defence.

Strano and Pettigrew were employed to develop a complete brand revitalization. As with any aviation branding project, we began with a comprehensive brand strategy, which formed the foundation of the visual identity design. We developed a bold mark, four-division system and tail-fin livery that reads at 30 000 feet. We also extended the brand architecture and design system to include Momentum’s four divisions.

A primary component to the aviation branding project was the aircraft livery design for Momentum Solutions’ Air Express regional cargo division. The livery design creative integrates seamlessly into the overall Momentum Solutions design system. The aircraft livery design was created using “to-scale” wireframe illustrations carried over to a complete 3d model of the primary aircraft. The 3D renderings and motion components illustrate the entire livery design from all viewpoints.
